Where Did Your God Go?

Countless people all over the world have different interpretations of who, what, and where God is. The millions of views of the, “Mystery of All Mysteries” always fascinated me. How could one person be so absolutely sure they know what God is and what God wants or is thinking yet at the same time say they are humbled to know God is beyond their understanding? For me, it has been like witnessing contradicting natures much like the ancient tales in religions of “ego vs. spirit” or “good vs. evil”. Many times people come to definite conclusions about their temporary thoughts, feelings, concerns, doubts and yet we are in an infinite universe with limitless time and evolution.
From personal experience, I can say when I came to definite conclusions about anything in life it was like the events following those conclusive thoughts were bound to humble my ass and show me how my "Mr. Right" thoughts were silly. If If I thought someone was greedy, sure enough in time they would be generous to me and others. If I thought I was of no importance in the world, someone would contact me and just randomly decide to say how much I mean to them. If I ever thought I had an answer to human evolution, ANOTHER discovery would be made about our species that puts to rest my original idea. The list goes on. Putting any sort of limitations on a topic that is so clearly beyond our knowing seems almost egotistical to me. Every individual has a unique life experience and perspective that can’t be mimicked. To create facts from a unique experience that can’t be shared with someone else (we don’t share brains) regarding God might be unwise.
However, to create opinions (rather than facts) with a grounding in a humble attitude and less egotistical mental limitations, there can be growth. Incase you haven't noticed, everything inhabiting Earth and space itself is constantly growing. So basically, if you are always open to new discoveries, you indirectly acknowledge the pattern of life in the universe. And anytime your behavior or thoughts start to be in alignment and mirror with the ridiculously complex solar system we live in, we get happy feelings and feel that “good” instead of “evil” or we feel “spirit” instead of “ego”. (Dopamines yeeeyee)
When you can be led to grow as a person and put no cap on internal expansion, there is infinite possibilities of how your life may go. So with that same though process in mind, I thought of possible scenarios about the confusion regarding where your god is and then offered an alternative perspective of where your god might be. My perspective I’m offering is neither right nor wrong, it’s simply words being offered. There could be countless perspectives for where our version of God went, but I tried to find “locations” that directed us to look at the original source of thought and plant new seeds from there. Hopefully the perspective offered below gives you happy feelings rather than fear and doubt! Happy Sunday!
If your God is___, maybe your God is here….
If It’s a white haired vision of a man maybe your image of God went with the artists that created the visual image of God.
If It’s a mysterious faceless force that can defy gravity and performs miracles in mysterious ways and you haven't seen miracles or heard a voice from the heavens, maybe that God went into the small things that are beautiful and you can hear this God in silence.
If It’s a comforting Father of Peace and Lord of Mercy, yet you find yourself in upheaval and shame, maybe this God can be found in contentment and forgiveness.
If It’s a weapon used to condemn others and justify your own actions and you cant find this God, maybe it’s found in humbled equality and perfect justice.
If It’s tradition and sacred teachings and you find yourself witnessing the destruction of tradition and passed on intelligence, maybe it’s found in evolving deep roots in the tradition and new lessons to be learned.
If It’s the tie that unites us all and the universe yet you find everything divided, maybe It’s where you divided yourself from relationships with people and the Earth.
If It’s the savior of mankind’s evil ways yet you see everyone’s future doomed and the spreading of evil, perhaps It’s where you left the birth of hope and happiness.
If It’s the subject of science and human connection to the Earth, yet you feel disconnected, maybe It’s in the fluctuating polar and magnetic shifts that alter the Earth’s atmospheric responses.
If It’s the zero understanding and impossibility of god, yet you find yourself understanding the term God and experiencing the possibility of there being one, maybe it’s in aloneness yet sharing an experience.
If It’s total perfection yet you find yourself witnessing and living in imperfection, maybe It’s in your understanding of what perfection is.
